Just an update. I’m still off work due to my injury and still not being paid but the bills are still coming in. Thank you everyone who has been able to help so far I really appreciate it.

Hi, my name is Karen Sexton. This is not something I wanted to do, but it’s my last hope.

On August 18, I hurt myself at work. After work, I ended up going to the emergency room and being admitted to the hospital, where I stayed for two weeks. During that time, I was in excruciating pain and could not walk. I found out I had torn my meniscus and got a staph infection in my knee and bloodstream. Also, during that time, I found out I could have died a few times.

So currently, I’m back at home learning how to walk again and have a PICC line where I have to do IV antibiotics three times a day around the clock. So, I’ve been off work since the 18th with no pay, but my bills are still coming in. I still have prescriptions to get, medical bills to pay, and food to buy. This is why I’m asking for help. Any little thing would do. Thank you.
