Hi everyone, my name is Victoria and I am Jayde’s stepsister and Debbie’s stepdaughter. Jayde and I have humbly created this donation page and are bringing our mom’s story to you in hopes that you will find it in your heart to help her in her time of need. She would never ask for help on her own, so we’re doing it for her (sorry mom)! Her family means absolutely everything to her and we want to reciprocate the same love and support she’s always given us.
**She is unaware of this fundraiser, so please do not reach out to her unless she has reached out to you first! We’d like to try and keep this a surprise.**
Back in September of this year, Debbie started having weird symptoms: constant fatigue, nausea, not able to eat, etc. What she thought was just a virus or a common illness very quickly turned into much worse. After multiple tests, scans, and biopsies, she has unfortunately been diagnosed with stage 4 adenocarcinoma. This is an aggressive form of cancer, especially with it being in late stages.
If you know our mom, you know she’s a fighter. Nothing and no one stands a chance with Debbie!!! With that being said, she’s kept a positive attitude for her family, but we all know this is an extremely scary and unknown time in all of our lives.
My sister and I are coming to you now, to ask for your help. Debbie is soon starting chemotherapy treatment, as well as immunotherapy, and just had her port placed. We all know how expensive these treatments are, and to see the financial burden coming in with Christmas right around the corner breaks my heart for our mom. She is retired and happily lives alone, but money is tight and this disease is unforgiving. She would never ask us for help, so we’re staying a step ahead and doing it for her. We’re hoping to give her any collected donations by Christmas, if possible ❤️
If you’re able to donate, any little bit can help and we are beyond grateful for your kindness, especially during the holiday season! We understand that times are hard right now, so if you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing our mom’s story to others to help spread the word.
My sister and I are extremely thankful if you’ve read this far and we ask you to please keep our family in your prayers as our mom navigates this new way of life.
We hope everyone has a happy holiday season & please hold your loved ones extra tight!
