Matthew Svoboda Memorial Fund

Matthew passed today, March 19th, 2021. He was 34 years old.

He meant so much to so many people. He was everyone's best friend.
He was supportive, kind and loving to everyone he met.
He was the best confidant that anyone could ask for, either to commiserate in our worries, or to share in our joy.
He was the kind of person that made you feel seen. He recognized each one of us for who we are, and loved us regardless of our flaws. Each of us shared something special with him.
He brought joy wherever he went. He also brought boundless positive energy, incredible style, encyclopedic knowledge of Cher, and the occasional Xena battle cry.

He was a born performer. Any Karaoke night with Matthew was surely one to remember. He was always up for a duet, and many of us have treasured songs that we shared with him time and time again.

His sudden illness and death have shocked his family and his many, many friends.

We are opening this GoFundMe to collect money for his funeral and memorial expenses. Any excess will go to his family, to try to recoup medical costs.
