Joe Cassidy: “Saving the blue planet is questionable.”

There is no magic bullet available to stop Climate Change it is here to stay for the next several decades. The only thing that can be done in the immediate future is to stop its progress, and we have approximately ten years to do that. A decade is a short period of time, so what can be accomplished? Step back in time to 1961. President Kennedy challenged NASA to send a man to the moon and bring him back within a decade. That was accomplished in eight years and two months. Stopping the advancement of Climate Change will require another "Moon Shot."

Joe Cassidy:                     Wake Up America

For those that do not know what an Existential Threat is, it means the threat of

losing existence. 

If you step outside your house on a beautiful day and look up, you will see a

clear blue sky. You cannot see the microscopic particles of CO2 forming a canopy

around the entire earth. That canopy holds heat in just like a greenhouse. When

our children reach the 6th grade, they know two things about our planet.

The world is the blue planet, and we live in a Goldilocks Zone. During the last forty

years, the fossil fuel lobby, partisan politics, and humanity have changed that Zone

and put future generations in peril. The earth is the only home we have. Fossil fuels are an Existential Threat. We are running out of time. We cannot allow anything to stop

the transition to Clean and Renewable Energy.   

Wake Up America

Four things must be accomplished within the next ten years if the advancement of

Climate Change is to be stopped.

1. The U.S. Congress must ratify the Paris Climate Agreement. It then becomes an

    Accord (Treaty) binding all signatories to the Agreement. 

2. Subsidization of fossil fuels must cease when possible. The G-20 made that

   decision more than a decade ago. However, little has been accomplished since. 

3, All 197 countries must develop Clean and Renewable Technologies where and

   as possible.

4. Coal-fired generation of electricity needs to be phased out. Exporting coal, and

   oil to foreign countries must be phased out over time by congressional law. It

   does no good to cut the use of any fossil fuel and then sell it for use to another 

   country. That cannot be done until Clean and Renewable technologies are

   brought online.

If these things are not done, animals like Elephants, Rhinos, Lions, Tigers, Polar Bears, and Snow Leopards will become extinct by the end of the century. In addition,

rising temperatures and seas will destroy the world's economy as we know it today.

Eight of the largest cities in the world are on oceanfront property and will be invaded

by rising seas. None of those cities are in America, but rising seas will invade our

cities.

 

Wake Up America

The fossil fuel industry intends to increase production by 25% by 2050. If this

is allowed, atmospheric CO2 will exceed 500 parts per million. If this occurs,

our earth will only get hotter, hotter, and hotter. Think of the world as if it were a Toaster Oven. Humanity is in that toaster. Each year the temperature gets turned

up a fraction of a degree. As horrendous as it is, we cannot allow the war in Ukraine

to deter the world community from our objective. The transition to Clean and

Renewable Energy. The time is short, but it can be done.  However, there is no time to waste.

RuthPostema is our Funding Campaign treasurer. Ruth opened a separate bank

account to receive funds from gofundme. All funds from gofundme will be transferred

to Zephyr International, Inc. Preparing the technology for sale will require six to twelve months. The objective is to sell the technology to an entity capable of mass production.

Hopefully, that will be to an American entity. This technology has the potential 

for millions of units in the United States. One hundred ninety-seven countries need this
