Care for Sri Lankan strays

Sujatha Desilva is my mum. She is a constant source of inspiration and my hero....She has spent her whole life trying to make everyone else around her happy. She has dedicated her life to caring for the elderly, giving to every charity possible and single-handedly raising three children. Now she has retired and moved back to Sri Lanka....and instead of focusing on herself, she has immersed herself in stray animal care. She is currently pouring the majority of her pension into neutering, vaccinating, feeding and giving vital veterinary treatment to the stray animals in her local area. But her pension is not enough. The sheer amount of stray animals in Sri Lanka is shocking and as an animal lover seeing these animals hungry and in distress is heartbreaking. It's time to do something to help. My mum has contacted a local charity called Embark to help her run a neutering project in her village. Embark will catch, neuter and vaccinate these dogs if we raise £2000. Sujatha will continue to care for these animals no matter what but the more money we raise the more animals we can help. £30 will feed 140 stray dogs for a day, £5 will treat 10 dogs for fleas and mange for a month, £10 will neuter an animal. Please give generously and support my mum in achieving her life-long goal of helping stray animals in Sri Lanka.
