Hi I’m Betty Sharpe and I’m asking for your support in helping Marlene. On Christmas Day, Marlene experienced a devastating loss when a fire destroyed her home and everything inside it. In the midst of this heartbreak, we are incredibly grateful that Marlene and her beloved pets escaped safely — truly an angel was watching over them that day.

Marlene is now facing the overwhelming reality of starting over from scratch. Sadly, there is no insurance to help cover the enormous task ahead. While Marlene and her pets are currently safe in a hotel, this is only a short-term solution. Her most urgent need right now is secure housing that can accommodate both her and her pets, along with the basic necessities to rebuild her life.

As Marlene’s friend, I know how kind, caring, and deserving she is — and I truly believe in the strength and compassion of our community. Any support you are able to offer through this GoFundMe page will go directly toward helping Marlene find housing, replace essentials, and take those first difficult steps forward.

Every donation, share, and kind thought means more than words can express. Thank you for helping Marlene begin again.
