In September 2023, Patrece received a life-saving lung transplant after battling sarcoidosis that had taken a devastating toll on her health. For a while, things were looking up — she was regaining strength and finally starting to rebuild her life.

But just recently, everything changed. Patrece’s body has begun rejecting her transplanted lung, and she is now undergoing intense treatments, including dialysis for plasma exchange. On top of this, she’s experiencing painful swelling in her right arm that has limited her ability to move. Through it all, Patrece continues to lean on her faith and trust in God’s strength to carry her through this difficult time.
