Hello, my name is Tasnim from the UK. For the past year, I’ve been in close contact with Mohammed Abu Rizq, who lives in Gaza and has been working tirelessly to support his surrounding community by distributing essential parcels.

Many of the people he helps are not connected to any donation campaigns- they are families in urgent and often overlooked need. While Mohammed has done his best to share what little he receives for his own family, the needs around him continue to grow.

To offer more sustained and targeted support, we’ve launched a campaign that directly benefits his local community. Below is a heartfelt message from Mohammed’s uncle, who is actively involved in delivering aid through this initiative:

In the name of God the most merciful, our noble Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace said: God helps the servant as long as the servant helps the brother. We are your brothers in the Gaza Strip, which has been afflicted by the war. We need you to extend a helping hand and assistance to our people in Gaza due to the ongoing unjust war. We are in dire need of cash and in-kind assistance, such as food and health parcels. We also need to buy medicine for the sick and tents for the displaced who cannot afford to buy a tent to shelter them from the summer heat and bitter cold. We need diapers, milk and entertainment for the children to raise their morale.

I put in your hands what our people, our children, our sick, and the displaced need, who have no shelter except you. O’ people of goodness, give with generosity and kindness. I ask God to help you and take you by the hand so that you may be among those who fulfil people’s needs through your hands. May you continue to be a support and help.
