My name is Angelita, I’m a 47 year old and am fighting to save my life. As if 2020 was not already so difficult for many of us another tragedy has hit me and my family. I was diagnosed almost a month ago with a very aggressive form of Cancer. For a few months I was feeling strange and always getting tired. I noticed a few changes going on. What brought me in originally was my heart. I was sent for X-rays and then noticed a lump in my breast. They ordered a mammogram where they found abnormalities. I was down from military base in Japan to San Diego for further testing. It is an Invasive Ductal Carcinoma Grade 3 Breast Cancer. I was asked to rewrite and update as the Cancer has spread quickly into my lymph nodes and am now at a Stage 2. I’ll need to receive all the proper care, testing and treatments as well as unexpected costs we are talking costs way beyond our means. We are asking for support for things not covered such as Testing not covered by insurance like immunotherapy, lodging, Meds not covered by Insurance, gas, transportation and the many other unexpected Costs. We have also decided that we need to find a permanent home here in San Diego so the move from Japan, transport for our pets and flights back for all of us is all adding up quickly. Looking at all the expenses and my husband losing a large amount in his pay with this transfer is going to be tough. We are normally not the ones to ask but with possibly a year or more of treatments and all we will definitely need the support. Please help us get through this tough time and help make things even a bit easier. We are also having to purchase a car as we sold ours before we left to Japan. We need to find a home and so much more. We were supposed to be in Okinawa for 5 years but this has changed our plans indefinitely. Please share and help my family and I get through this tough time. I will continue to keep you posted. We appreciate every and any amount. Thank you for your support and remember every and any amount is helpful and appreciated. .
