On September 3rd, 2025, I was in a car accident on my way to work. A lady hit me on my driver's side door going 55 mph, causing my vehicle to go out of control and end up in a ditch 2 feet from a telephone pole. I was trapped in my vehicle and fortunately enough there were bystanders around who were able to drag me out of my car.

By the grace of God I was able to walk away from this accident myself and my son unharmed.

All of my airbags deployed, the driver's window and door were destroyed, the bumper, corner panel, both wheel wells, and frame were bent, leaving my car totaled.

I had insurance but not full coverage. The accident was marked as “no fault,” along with her not having insurance. During the accident, the police told me they wouldn’t wait for roadside assistance, so they called the nearest tow yard to get my vehicle out. They said that since I had insurance, it would be taken care of by them, which now is not the case. So, my totaled car is stuck in the impound, and I owe $2,000 to get it out. Even after getting it out, it’s going to be thousands of dollars to get it fixed enough to drive. I owe on this car, and the company I financed through doesn’t even offer GAP insurance, so I’m just in an awful situation. We just paid rent and paid for a gender reveal as I’m pregnant with a baby boy. This is just completely unexpected and unfortunate. Working two different schedules with my partner, someone is going to lose their job, and that is only going to cause more hardships.

I am extremely embarrassed to ask for help. I usually figure everything out and always make a way, but right now, I am at my lowest, and I need my people.

If I can find a cheap reliable vehicle I am going to have to do that and just tank my credit or I try and get my car out and get it repaired as much as I can, but all of my seatbelts are locked due to all the air bags deploying so I have to replace so so much and I’m sure that would take weeks to get repaired and I cannot afford to miss work that long all the repairs I listed are just what I see I’m not a mechanic so I’m sure there will be even more.
