Evan Jones Accident Bills, Recovery

Donation protected
Evan "E-dub" Jones and his girlfriend were recently in a car accident, and then Evan was struck by a vehicle after he exited the car. When the car hit him, his head took most of the impact. He is currently (Jan. 13, 2016) in critical condition and has been since he arrived a few days ago. Evan suffers from a brain injury, multiple broken bones in his face, a neck injury, and a broken leg among many other complications as a result of the accident. We will not know the extent of his brain damage until he at least opens his eyes. So far, he has tried on his own, and he fights daily to come back to us.

My name is Alysha, and I am his oldest sister. As I sit here and write this, my 19 year old brother fights for his life. When Evan arrived at the hospital, Jessica, one of his (many) sisters heard the dreaded words, "I'm doing everything that I can, but it's a miracle that he's alive." Evan wasn't supposd to live. Evan is here because he's a fighter. He will not let this defeat him! This is just the beginning for Evan. We fully expect ups and downs, and eventually he will come home. Until then, the journey will be long. We're leaning on God.

The doctors expect that Evan will be in the hospital and/or a rehabilitation facility for several months. This means that he will not be able to work, and he will still have bills to take care of. We all know the struggle of missing a few days of work- imagine several months! Scary! I know that my family will help him in any way we can. I know that MANY of you have asked to help, and we appreciate that beyond words. Our gratitude for the prayers, encouragement and support so far is impossible to explain. I know that when Evan wakes up, he will feel the same.
Evan would do anything for the people that he loves and his loyalty runs deep. As his family, it kills us to know that we can't take this burden from him completely. Thankfully, a lot of people love him. Lets make this journey easier on him by taking the financial burden.

When people talk about Evan in this situation, the first thing that leaves their mouth is, "He's a fighter, he's going to make it."  He has four older sisters, so he had no choice to be tough! He also has a younger sister and brother. He's in the middle of the lineup, but he looks out for all of us. He has made it this far because he FIGHTS daily. What he can't fight for, you better believe that we will. This is how we fight. We plan for his FUTURE.
