Hello,
On July 8th Eric Frye was taken to the hospital for covid complications. He had pneumonia , low o2 and a high fever. He was kept and placed on oxygen. Over the course of the next few days he continued to get worse. He was placed in ICU on July 12th. On July 13th I was admitted to the hospital as well. At this time Jason and Cody were at home sick trying to recover.
July 20th Eric had to be placed on a ventilator. They allowed me to sit with him shortly since I was already in the ICU with him. July 21st they allowed Jason and Cody to come see us. We are so thankful for the time they were able to give us. I wish the girls could of come. Eric continues to fight daily. He has good and bad days. We just need time for his body to fight this. So everyday we get is a miracle.
During this time no one has been able to work since the first part of July when we all got sick. We have paid the bills we can. But have reached the point that we need to ask for help. So we can continue all of our focus on healing and supporting Eric's fight!
I was finally discharged on July 25th. I have to continue my recovery at home while my husband and best friend is fighting for his life in the hospital. My 2 boys are being amazingly strong. But we have reached the point to ask for help and more continued prayers.
Eric had just started a new job, so we did not have any insurance set up. His company is helping as much as they can.
For those that don't know Eric. I don't even know how to begin. He is 46. He is an amazing husband, father, and friend. He proudly served 22 years in the Air Force. He is a disabled veteran. That loves making people happy. We have been married for 21 years and together for 22. We have an amazing family of 4 children (Anastasia, Alexa, Jason, and Cody) and 6 grandbabies and 1 angle grandbaby. He is a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, and we just moved to Fort Worth Texas! So he could finally watch all the good games, as he put it. LOL. I could go on and on....... But thank you for those that have read our story this far. And even if you can not donate, please pray for us, and share our story.
Covid has affected our family in the worst case scenario. And all we can do now is continue our fight and pray. Thank you all again. We appreciate every message and phone call. Even if we can not respond to each of you. We love you all. #FryeFamily
