Hi Everyone,
This is my brother and his family, they have a big heart to help children in need. They adopted five siblings about twelve years ago to give them a better home. Due to abuse and neglect, before they were adopted, each one has severe coping and cognitive issues, a few more severe than the others. It has become necessary to take them out of school and home school due to these issues. Recently one of the children has become aggressive to the extent of causing injury to his family. As a parent we want to give our children the tools to help them cope and become responsible adults. They feel that this treatment may help turn him around and help him control his anger by finding the root of the problem.
They have found a treatment center in Lubbock that does brain balance therapy and have a high rate of success with this treatment. They help kids with ADHD, Asperger, behavioral issues, sensory processing and many more issues. The treatment center uses a non-medical, whole child approach that will be a positive experience for the children. They took one of the kids through the treatment and it has completely changed his life.
We all see the difference in him, and all agree that this treatment would greatly benefit his siblings. Since the treatment is very expensive (7,500 for each child) and their insurance will not cover it, it has become necessary to ask the community for help. With the aggression of one of the children it is urgent to start him as soon as possible.
