This is Amy Green, my youngest daughter. Watching your child in pain, unable to work and not even able to live her life is one of our worse nightmares as a parent. Watching my youngest daughter, Amy, battle health problems for the past several years has left me feeling helpless.
In 2016 doctors found a large mass on Amy’s right ovary that was later found to be an endometrioma, a form of endometriosis. There was also a large amount of endometriosis on and around the surrounding organs. After being in and out of the hospital numerous times she decided to have a hysterectomy in 2017. Endometriosis is an estrogen dependent disease; the idea was to have a hysterectomy so there wouldn’t be anymore pain.
Unfortunately, the hysterectomy did not stop the pain or the spread of the disease. In May tests showed a small nodule (pictured below) had formed on her right lung and a one centimeter cyst was found on her right kidney. By the beginning of August another cyst was discovered on the same kidney.

Amy’s PCP agreed to refer her to one of the only Endometriosis Excision Specialist that removes the disease from all the different organs affected. Her appointment with Dr. Seckin is September 3, 2019.
Unfortunately, he is located in New York City. She will be making two separate trips out there; one for the initial appointment and one for the surgery.
We need help for the plane tickets, hotel stays, and the sizable insurance deductibles.
I don’t like having to ask for help but there is really nothing else I know of to do.
Prayers and any help would be greatly appreciated, including sharing this post.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. For more information on the Doctor and the surgery please go to www.drseckin.com.❤️❤️❤️
