Starting a small business has always been a dream of ours, and about a year ago, we finally took the leap.

Like most new businesses, the beginning hasn’t been easy. Startup costs add up quickly, and building a steady customer base takes time. We’ve worked hard to keep expenses as low as possible while still providing quality service. When we found a used truck that was perfect for our needs, already equipped with a tool cap, we felt like things were falling into place. We even designed and installed our own decals to make it ours without the costly expense of a full truck wrap.

Unfortunately, at the beginning of April, the work truck suffered a major engine failure. What started as a misfire turned into a hole in the engine block. The entire engine and intake manifold now need to be replaced.

After getting multiple opinions and searching for a reliable mechanic, we were quoted $9,500 for a repair with a 3-year warranty.

This truck isn’t just transportation, it’s essential to our livelihood. It allows us to carry the tools and equipment we need to do our work properly. Without it, we’re limited in what jobs we can take, and realistically, showing up in a small personal vehicle makes it harder for customers to trust us as professionals.

We’re doing everything we can to keep our business going, but we need help to get through this setback.
