Early November 2014, my dear friend, Elizabeth Pellegrini was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. At first, doctors downplayed her symptoms but with Elizabeth's persistance and finally a long overdue biopsy, it was discovered. At this time Elizabeth and her family are trying to come to terms with her diagnosis and are all in shock! Anyone that knows Elizabeth knows that she is the most selfless person. She has always put her family before herself - husband, Nick (her H.S. sweetheart) and her 3 children: Taylor, (20) junior in college, Hallie (14 ) cheerleader, son Perry( 8) fun-loving boy and of course her twin sister Madeline. Elizabeth has loved her career as a Group Counselor at Juvenille Hall for the past 6 years. The love and compassion she has for the youth is amazing. Elizabeth has also spent the past year striving to accomplish her dream of completing her bachelor degree in criminal justice. These important paths in her life have now been put on hold. She now needs to focus on her health. Please help me show Elizabeth how much she is loved and supported and help take the financial burden off of her family, so they can focus on her treatment and just loving her at this very hard time!
