My name is Ed, I will be 59 this Christmas Eve. I was diagnosed this week with pancreatic cancer, which has possibly moved into my liver. I was told this type of cancer grows very rapidly, so not knowing how long it will take, I believe time is not on my side. I'm on disability from the loss of a most of my vision, I lost my wife 6 years ago to cancer and recently lost my father.
I have a grave site, and a headstone with my wife, unfortunately I do not have the money to pay the rest of the expenses. My biggest fear is leaving these costs to my two boys. They both have lives and families of their own and cannot afford these costs. I would hate to leave this world leaving these expenses to someone else.
I was informed of this site by friends and I thought this might be my only way of raising the funds I so desperately need. I could not imagine at this point in my life, I’d be asking friends and strangers for a helping hand but here I am. With a heavy heart, great hardship and despair, I ask for your donation.
All funds, if any will be turned directly over to the Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. I will meet with the funeral director soon to be sure I’m not asking too much in donations, I believe that should cover everything.
