Nuray Nasirova is a ten years old girl who has been diagnosed with B-Thalassemia. She is a fun, loving girl whose big dreams were ruined by this fatal illness.
The family is devastated, as both of the kids (Nuray and her 8 years old brother Vaqif) of the family were diagnosed with B-Thalassemia in 2013 in Azerbaijan Republic. Since then, the kids are undergoing blood transfusions every week, which is physically and emotionally painful process both for the young ones and the family. Periodically, the kids are taking different types of medical threatment, which are causing financial troubles too for the family. Continuous treatment is vital in Nuray’s case. Every passing day is decreasing her chances for survival.
Fortunately, recently there appeared a hope for Nuray to survive with bone marrow transplantation operation. Though, Vaqif’s future is remaining unknown yet, the family could find donor for Nuray in Turkey and therefore, the operation should be done there.
The overall expenses for Nuray’s bone marrow transplantation is US$100,000. US$12,000 of these funds will be used to get Nuray to Turkey Republic, cover transport and initial medical expenses. US$88,000 will be used for the operation according to quotation from Mdicalpark Hospital in Turkey Republic.
