I’m fundraising for an excellent Lymphoma charity after receiving a blast of chemotherapy and radiotherapy last year and early this year.
I’m now in monitored remission for the next couple of years.
Sir Chris Hoy who also has stage four cancer has inspired me to keep my fitness levels up with the aim of proving that people with stage four cancer can still aim for sporting challenges.
The plan is to cycle 56 miles around Glasgow, the Trossachs and back again.
We hope to raise several thousand pounds and I would like to make my contribution to my chosen cancer charity.
Lymphoma is the fifth most common type of cancer and although treatments are good, it’s important that there is constant refinement with an aim to cure.
I intend to do this challenge with the help of family and friends and would be grateful if you could help me raise some funds to help this charity.
The event will be on the 7th of September this year.
Many thanks
