Save Huzeyfe’s Academic Future

 

Huzeyfe is a successful student who went to Brazil from Turkey for education. Now, he does not have the financial means to continue his education, and we do not want to see Huzeyfe giving up his dreams as his dear friends and the Turkish community in Brazil and Germany.

 

Here is Huzeyfe's plea to all:

 

"Hi, I am a social sciences graduate from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) (the most competitive and renowned institution in Latin America). I was accepted to FGV with a R$72,000 ($12,500) three and half-year full scholarship and graduated with a 4.0 GPA as an only international student. My dream is to pursue a Ph.D. in Politics to have a better understanding of populism, the far left and right, and polarization. For this objective, I was recently accepted from the Global Studies Programme at Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg-Germany, but because of financial reasons, I could not fully matriculate. I have been searching for scholarship opportunities since I have received my acceptance, but most of them are exclusive to German speakers.

 

I received my first acceptance letter from Freiburg University (Albert-Ludwigs-University). However, I could not find sufficient funds to secure my visa and complete my matriculation and I need a support. I am very grateful for the support and I am sure I will pay back to society as a academic contribution.

Huzeyfe Türkiye’den Brezilya’ya üniversite eğitimi için gitmiş başarılı bir öğrenci. Brezilya’da eğitimini yüksek başarıyla tamamlayan Huzeyfe’nin eğitimine devam edecek maddi imkânı yok ve Huzeyfe'nin sevgili arkadaşları ve Brezilya ve Almanya'daki Türk toplumu olarak hayallerinden vazgeçmesini istemiyoruz.

"Merhaba, Latin Amerika'daki en rekabetçi ve tanınmış kurum olan Fundação Getulio Vargas'tan (FGV) sosyal bilimler mezunuyum. 72.000 R $ (12.500 $) üç buçuk yıllık tam bursla FGV'ye kabul edildim ve uluslararası bir öğrenci olarak 4.0 not ortalama ile mezun oldum. Hayalim, popülizm, aşırı sol ve sağ ve kutuplaşmayı daha iyi anlamak için Siyaset Bilimi alanında doktora yapmak. Bu amaçla, yakın zamanda Almanya, Freiburg'daki Albert-Ludwigs-Üniversitesi'nde Küresel Çalışmalar Programına kabul edildim, ancak finansal nedenlerden dolayı kaydımı tamamlayamadım. Kabul aldığımdan beri burs olanakları arıyordum, ancak çoğu  sadece Almanca konuşanlar için özel.

 

Freiburg Üniversitesi'nden (Albert-Ludwigs-Üniversitesi) ilk kabul mektubumu aldım. Huzeyfe é um estudante de sucesso que veio da Turquia para o Brasil para estudar. Agora, ele não tem meios financeiros para continuar seus estudos, e não queremos ver Huzeyfe desistindo de seus sonhos como seus queridos amigos e da comunidade turca no Brasil e na Alemanha.

 

Aqui está o apelo de Huzeyfe a todos:

 

“Olá, sou formado em ciências sociais pela Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) (a mais competitiva e renomada instituição da América Latina). Fui admitido na FGV com bolsa de R $ 72.000 ($ 12.500) de três anos e meio e me formei com a 4.0 GPA como único estudante estangeiro. Meu sonho é fazer um Ph.D. em Política para ter uma melhor compreensão do populismo, extrema esquerda e direita, e polarização. Para esse objetivo, fui recentemente aceito no Global Studies Programa na Albert-Ludwigs-University em Freiburg-Germany, mas por questões financeiras não pude me matricular. Tenho buscado oportunidades de bolsa desde que recebi a minha aceitação, mas a maioria delas são exclusivas para falantes de alemão.

 

Recebi minha primeira carta de aceitação da Universidade de Freiburg (Albert-Ludwigs-University). No entanto, não consegui encontrar fundos suficientes para garantir meu visto e concluir minha matrícula e preciso de apoio. Agradeço muito o apoio e tenho certeza que retribuirei à sociedade como uma contribuição acadêmica.
