On 07/14/2025, I stepped on an unstable area in the yard and broke my ankle. I had to have a plate and seven screws put in. A week later, the wound turned into cellulitis and then turned septic, with a temperature of 104 rising up to 105.

I am currently off from work for eight weeks longer than expected. I work as an LPN at a nursing home, working anywhere between 98 to 120 hours a pay period. Now, I'm working nothing. I have had my car repossessed because I couldn't make a payment, and we're trying like crazy to not lose our house.

This is the first time I've ever done anything like this, but when you have to feed your family and pay for the necessities, you gotta do what you gotta do.
