Help Save Fairfax Feline and Feathered Friends
Donation protected
Hello dear community,
A few weeks ago, I made a heart-rending discovery in my ADU: 6 fragile kittens, a young momma cat, 2 senior kitties, and one cute female finch - all abandoned and desperate. It was clear they hadn't eaten or received any care for days. With no hesitation, I took them into my home, ensuring they had warmth, love, and nourishment.
With the invaluable help of the Marin Humane Society, these little ones are well on their way to recovery. They've received essential vaccinations and had any medical issues addressed. My ultimate goal is to find loving homes for each of them, and I'm thrilled to share that we've already identified prospective homes for most of them. We're just waiting for all the vet appointments to be completed.
Until that day comes, my house is their safe haven. Feeding, playing, socializing - every day I'm doing my best to be the foster mom they deserve.
To date, I've poured over $2,000 from my own pocket into their care. While this is a labor of love, the costs are adding up. I know Fairfax and our neighboring communities are brimming with animal lovers. If your heart feels the call to help, any donation would go a long way in supporting these innocent souls, ensuring they get the best start to their new lives.
Every bit helps, and together, we can give these beautiful creatures a chance at a brighter tomorrow.
With deepest gratitude,
Candace
