Our Happily Ever After

Donation protected

On February 14th, 2014 our love story began, and on December 16th, 2015 our love turned into our Happily Ever After. We knew getting married would be a big cost for us, as we both work part time in jobs that barely pay over minimum wage. We knew that would mean sacrifices and more time picking up any shift we could. We spend more time apart while we plan our wedding and next chapter of our lives, than we ever have before. A loan seemed like the best option for us, as neither of our families could contribute too much into our wedding. Money is tough every where, and it isn't an easy time to plan a wedding. Now we are just a few short months away, and where we started off ahead of our checklist, we have now fallen behind because of our financial situation. We have both started utlizing our talents, Nicholas with his art, and mine with crafting, to try and earn extra money towards the wedding and possibly a honeymoon. We'very even been attending local crafts fairs when our schedules allow. Our families have helped as much as they can, and as it looks we might not be able to have a honeymoon for a year or two - but that doesn't matter. What matters is finishing what we started with our venue and photographer payments, but most importantly our love and union. We fell in love unexpectedly and right into a fairytale. Neither one us knew that love like ours could truly exist. Even now from time to time, I have to remind myself that is real, it's a daily choice for us to love each other this much, and that we have made it. We don't need a fancy honeymoon, expensive centerpieces or a huge guest count. We just need to finish paying the commitments we have already made and join our lives and souls together. Anything given is a huge blessing, and even if we cannot pay for our photographer, we would be so grateful for the kindness and generosity of those around us. We have a blog that anyone is able to follow our story at magicalmarriage.tumblr.com . There you can see what we have been going through; our trials, our triumphs, and our little handmade businesses. Whether you have taken the time to read our story, or been able to donate to our newest chapter life, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. God Bless You. ♡
