We are in need of funds to complete a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity being offered to us by the Seattle Mariners! Funds will be used for plane tickets, hotel costs, rental car, food and possible medical accommodations.

Alan Hutchison is a huge Seattle, Washington sports fan! He grew up in the Seattle area, and his four siblings all live in and around the Portland, Oregon area. Alec, Alan’s oldest child, created a video (Alec’s Video ) and sent it to the Mariners! They have reached out to give us a family experience at T-Mobile Park during a home series in September!!!

While in the area, we also want to see his four older siblings and possibly get a second opinion on his prognosis and palliative surgery.

Alan, my wonderful husband, was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in November 2022 and went through painful radiation treatment and chemotherapy from around January to September 2023. He was set to have the cancer removed in March 2024; however, his pre-op scans in February 2024 showed the cancer had spread to his liver. After a biopsy, the doctors confirmed the cancer was now stage 4. So, Alan went back into a new radiation treatment for his liver and more chemotherapy to hopefully stop the cancer from growing. The radiation helped his liver; however, the original tumor was growing and was not responding to the chemotherapy. The treatments was also making Alan very sick, and he ended up in the hospital due to complications. Since December 2024, he has been in and out of the hospital, with the last being over his 62nd birthday in August 2025.
