Hutchinson Family Home & Legacy after Altadena Fire Loss
Donation protected
My parents bought their dream home in Altadena in 1971, and it was an absolute DREAM! It was a fabulous mid-century modern home that was an epic party house with groovy furniture and an incredible backyard & pool. It was our family's pride and joy and provided the most idyllic place to raise a family and enjoy for over 50 years. Unfortunately, it was all lost during the Eaton Canyon Fire, leaving my 90-year-old father (a proud Morehouse and CalTech graduate) without his precious home of 54 years and a lifetime of possessions.
We are raising funds to cover expenses that may not be covered by various sources of aid. We would also like to help my father's support system, who have also lost homes, like his neighbors, gardener, church, and friends who have also lost everything. Altadena is an incredible, multi-cultural, and historic town which has been decimated by this tragedy, and we want to help my father and his network heal and get back on their feet. We thank you immensely for your support.
