It is with deep sadness I am announcing the unexpected passing of my niece and best friend, Vanessa Rattanayong on Friday, November 19, 2021.

Vanessa was born in 1992 in Lawrence and grew up made a life for herself in Lowell.

She attended LHS and worked very hard to support herself and her young children, Arianna, age 13 and Damara age 9.

She became a mother at the age of 15 and have since dedicated herself to raising her two children as a single mother. She’s always worked multiple jobs, and recently started her own side gig doing events photo-booth to earn extra money to support her two daughters.

Even in her death at a young age, Vanessa tried to live a full life balancing work, friends, and family.

I, along with all her cousins, friends, and family are hoping we can raise some money to provide a proper funeral ceremony for Vanessa and for her young children so they would receive extra help during the holidays and the next few months as they learn to adjust to life without their mother.
