***UPDATE***

I would first like to thank you all for the many thoughts, prayers, and donations this far .I was admitted to the hospital on Monday and a pick line was inserted , with the medicine primacor , the medicine will constrict the heart so that it will make the blood flow easy to the right side . I will be on this medicine until I have a transplant , having a pickline will move me up on the transplant .this being said funding is crucial at this point . My name is Barry McClain, a 58 year old husband to Crystal McClain, father of 4 and grandfather of 8. I live in Blanchard, Louisiana. I have battled heart disease since the age of 44. I have had several small heart attacks and blockages which resulted in stents being placed. In October of 2020 while working in Clifton, TX, I suffered a major heart attack and was airlifted to Baylor in Waco, TX. The damage was massive causing severe damage to the left muscle wall along with the entire ventricular. Despite my Doctors, Specialists and all the medication all has been unsuccessful and the muscle has died completely.

I am in a very critical stage and need help. I need a heart transplant and I will be put on a list BUT in order for this to happen, I am required to re-locate to Dallas, TX for 3-6 months AND THE PROGRAM REQUIRES patients to have at least 10K-$15,000. This covers housing, food and medications.

For anyone reading this, I need your help. Any and all donations along with Prayers are greatly appreciated. It shouldn't be this way when people are sick and need help.
