Husband, Father, Fighter-help Phil heal from Cardiac Arrest

On 05/10/2025, our world was turned upside down when Phill suffered a sudden cardiac arrest. Thanks to the quick actions of loved ones and first responders, his heart was restarted after nearly 30 minutes of CPR. He was rushed in an ambulance to the ICU, placed on a ventilator, and began receiving life-saving care including therapeutic hypothermia to protect his brain.

We’re now days into this journey. He remains in critical care, sedated and on life support, while doctors begin the process of gently waking him to assess his recovery. There are signs of movement, brain activity and hope, but we know this is only the beginning. The Doctors are considering all these signs as positive and in the right direction.

No one prepares for something like this. While the ICU costs alone are significant, we’re also facing the next phase—rehabilitation, physical and occupational therapy, neurological follow-ups, medication, and potential long-term care. Each of these steps is necessary to bring Phil back to us fully, and we’re doing everything we can to support that journey.

We’re starting this fundraiser to help ease the financial burden so we can focus on healing and hope. Any donation—big or small—makes a meaningful difference. It helps cover medical bills, transportation to therapy and whatever support Phil will need in the days and months to come.
