Hurricane Harvey Disaster Relief
Hurricane Harvey is inundating Houston and the surrounding areas with historic rainfalls and flooding. Even as this situation is still developing, we want to start planning for the recovery of our members and our community.
As the Official Chelsea Football Club Supporters Group in Houston, Texas, some of our own Bayou City Blues members are being forced from their homes by rising waters and have suffered property loss. These families will need our support to help them rebuild their lives after this storm is over.
We will be forming a fundraising committee which will vote to decide exactly how the funds raised will be dispersed, but we anticipate that it will go directly to our friends in the BCBs who have lost property and been forced to evacuate.
Please donate and share this effort, as we raise funds to take care of our Chelsea family.
The funds in this account will be withdrawn by Kerri & Tim Foley (Houston residents & Bayou City Blues members) and then divided equally between the five Bayou City Blues families who sustained property damage during Hurricane Harvey. Each family will receive a cashier's check which they can use to purchase new furniture, fund home repairs, or pay insurance deductibles.
