After 6 trips between Florida and North Carolina, delivering the supplies, donations, and food provided by your generosity, I have the opportunity to sit here and reflect on the devastation that engulfed these areas and the volume of destruction these storms caused. Its a life changing experience every time I go. Removing over 1,000 fallen trees from demolished homes, vehicles, and roadways to finding stranded and starving pets desperate for help, and rescuing countless people from their flooded homes reminded me of my motto...Pay it forward when you can.
Without your compassion and our volunteers Matt Timen, Travis Strain, and Chris Barber, we would not have been able to be where we were called to be.
A special thank you to Sam's Club in Bluffton. Donating hundreds of dollars in gift cards to help with our travels and paying for a portion of our donations we were able to bring so much more to those in need. Thank you to the Sam's team.
I am grateful and humbled by the donations, instant call to action, and overwhelming support and encouragement I have received from our Community.
After the rescue efforts and supplies delivered to those in need from the destruction of Hurricane Florence, Hurricane Michael has hit the west coast and panhandle of Florida causing devastation and lost lives. My passion is to help others and to go where there is a need. Arriving in Panama City and Mexico Beach in the wake of Michael has deemed me speechless. Knowing that many have the same passion for helping as I do, I am reaching out for donations to help provide needed drink water, supplies, and resources required to help the victims of this disaster. I am very grateful to everyone who helped with Florence and am asking for the same generosity to do what I can to help those in the path of Michael. No donation is too small, even $5.00 or $10.00 can go a long way in our rescue efforts.
I do not know how to begin to thank everyone for their support and donations, except to say without your efforts, this task would be much more challenging.
Thank you so very much!
Hi, my name is Ben Kennedy. Those who know me, know I have a passion for helping others. In previous rescue efforts I have witnessed the devastation in Texas, South Carolina, and Louisiana as a result of Mother Nature. I was called to Lumberton, North Carolina to help with water rescues. Without hesitation Chris Barber, Travis Strain, Brandon Little and myself, have out together a team of 2 boats and 2 trucks. I am sure that you are all well aware of the cost of supplies. We are asking for what ever you can donate to help the victims. Even 5 or 10 dollars can go a long way in our rescue efforts. We greatly appreciate what ever you can donate and thank you for your support.
