The Gaskins are one of the many unfortunate families to lose everything in hurricane Florence. Brandon was born and raised in New Bern and currently works for Craven County Schoold bus system. He is out there daily ensuring our kids are safe on their way to and from school he is also a Shriner which helps one of the best children’s hospital around. He is also a volunteer fire fighter. As you can see they give back to the community so I’m hoping this time the community can give back to them. 

They have been great friends to our family and many others.  Their home is in the Oaks road area of New Bern NC which we all know took a hit like never before. Their home that they recently renovated theirselves flooded very badly and almost everything was ruined. They don’t have flood insurance so replacing everything is going to be a struggle. They are a great family who would do anything for anyone. They could really use our help to replace some of the basic necessities and start rebuilding there home. 

I haven’t asked or told them I was doing this because they wouldn’t ask for the help. They are always willing to help others and never ask for anything in return. This time they need our help and anything you can give would go along way to a very deserving family. 

I know now times are tough for a lot of people right now so do what you can even if it’s just saying and prayer for them and passing this along.
