Hurricane Relief for SKIP CAIRO

Hello, My name is Mike Eaton, and I'm trying to raise money for a good friend Skip Cairo. Skip lives in a small community called Quail Hollow in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. On Thursday Sept 29th, 2022 Hurricane Ian passed through New Smyrna, Florida. Due to extreme flooding the Quail Hollow neighborhood suffered incredible damage. Skips home flooded with 3' of water entering the home. The water was high enough that it started coming in through the windows. The single wide trailer is a complete loss and unfortunately there is no home owners insurance because of its age. Skip also lost his car which was destroyed in the flooding as well. All of Skip's belongings are unsalvageable. Skip and his dog were rescued by New Smyrna Fire Dept. Skip is currently staying with a friend and trying to recover from this tragedy. Skip is 80 years old and only receives Social Security as income. He could really use your donations to at least get a vehicle. Skip has also been a part of the biker community for a long time. I'm hoping the biker community will step up and help contribute to this cause. I've never set up a Go Fund Me before so forgive me if this is long winded. Please help if you can. GoFundMe told me I need more info about myself. My name is Mike Eaton. I met Skip back in the 80's on Long Island NY. We've been friends ever since. Skip moved to Florida and I moved to South Carolina. I visit Skip usually twice a year. Bike Week and Biketoberfest. I stayed at his home every time I came down. The monies will be specifically used to get Skip a vehicle so he can get around while he tries to rebuild his life. Every penny will go to Skip. He really needs help. Thank you. Mike Eaton
