Support for F.M. Don’s Staff after Two Hurricanes

We all know F.M. Don’s is more than just a restaurant—it’s where people meet up for a great meal and a couple of drinks. There is always laughter and smiles are never in short supply! It’s a place where people feel like family. That’s what Keith and Stacey Meyer wanted when they opened the doors 8 years ago.

However, the past few weeks have tested the strength of their beloved restaurant and their wonderful staff. Hurricanes Helene and now Milton brought unimaginable devastation, After Helene, the team immediately rolled up their sleeves, working day and night, determined to rebuild. The re-opening date was Friday October 11th. But then Hurricane Milton had other plans, bringing a second wave of destruction and a lot more work for the team.

The damage in Punta Gorda is overwhelming, and the wonderful staff at F.M. Dons's are hurting. They have been out of work since September 26th and several of them also lost their homes and vehicles. Most of the employees have worked for Keith and Stacey for years, some since the1st day of business! Keith and Stacey have always put them 1st, making sure they have money coming in. Now, it’s our turn to help and be there for them.

In addition to running F.M. Don’s, Stacey is also a valued team member of The Bevis Group. As her work family, we’re coming together to ask for your help, knowing how much her employees and this community mean to her. She and Keith have been giving everything they have to rebuild, but they cannot do this alone.
