Hurricane Relief for Cara and entire family

Hi! We are raising funds to help Cara LaSalle (Hyland) and her entire family get through the next couple of months while they rebuild after Hurricane Ian. Physically everyone is ok, thank you for all who asked. But they will have a long road ahead of them. Cara, and her brother Pat, have spent the last 8 years building The Clam Shack Restaurant on Sanibel Island. There is no way to know the extent of the damage on Sanibel as of yet. But (if able) Cara will have to spend months rebuilding.

Who ever is lucky enough to know Cara, Cooper, McKenna and their father Matt LaSalle alongside Laurie and Mark Thomas; know that they always welcome you with open arms. Their home… is your home. Their family… is now your family.

This family has faced devastating loss. As of today, they are spending their days focusing on getting The Clam Bake in Ft Myers, ready and operational for when power returns with plans to feed the first responders and neighbors in their area. This does not shock us, as their main focus is always on helping everyone else.
