My name is Kareena and I’am organizing this relief effort in support of my family and neighbors in Bluefields, Westmoreland, Jamaica. Hurricane Melissa has deeply impacted my loved ones and the entire Bluefields community.

Like many surrounding areas, Bluefields has been left in ruins, homes destroyed, families displaced, and generations of hard work lost overnight.

For over 90 years, my family has called Bluefields home a place filled with love, laughter, and deep roots. We have weathered many hurricanes before, but never imagined devastation of this magnitude would touch us so deeply.
