Hurricane Recovery for Slick

Our friend and rollerskating inspiration, Slick Twist, was directly affected by Hurricane Ida. The damage to his roof left his family-owned home uninhabitable and most of their belongings are destroyed from water entering where the ceiling collapsed. He, his little baby, and young daughter have been forced to evacuate and are currently staying with friends and family.
We're raising money to provide immediate relief for Slick and his two kids while they rebuild. The home will require costly repairs and their belongings need to be replaced. Unfortunately this home was not insured for the type of damage caused by the storm. They are reaching out to FEMA for assistance, but we all know how challenging it can be to access those funds! Slick is the type of person who wouldn't ask for help for himself, but is usually the first to be there for others. Please consider helping him and his fam recover and rebuild!
The money raised here will help Slick begin to rebuild the roof, find temporary housing, and also purchase necessary home goods. A list of housewares and necessities will be posted soon if you would also like to purchase items directly. We will update our fundraising goals when we have a better idea of the families needs. We will also post updates with the progress on roof repairs and clean up.
