Help Elena & Jorge rebuild after Hurricane Milton

Hello everyone,

My parents, Elena & Jorge, were tragically impacted by Hurricane Milton. The night of the storm a tree fell over their mobile home and destroyed the entire structure. Thankfully, my parents had evacuated prior to the storm and they are safe!

They moved to Zephyrhills to retire, put all their life savings towards their home, only to face this devastating blow. Their personal belongings were severely damaged, and the park management is unfortunately not providing any assistance, despite them paying rent for their lot.

The financial burden of moving and starting over is overwhelming. My parents are in desperate need of support to rebuild their lives, they are low income senior citizens living off of social security. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference. I know times are tough and we are all dealing with the aftermath of the storm.

Mis padres, Elena y Jorge, fueron trágicamente impactados por el huracán Milton. La noche de la tormenta, un árbol cayó sobre su casa móvil y destruyó toda la estructura. Afortunadamente, mis padres habían evacuado antes de la tormenta y están a salvo.

Se mudaron a Zephyrhills para jubilarse, invirtiendo todos sus ahorros de toda la vida en su hogar, solo para enfrentar este golpe devastador. Sus pertenencias personales sufrieron daños severos y la administración del parque desafortunadamente no está brindando ninguna asistencia, a pesar de que pagan la renta por su lote.

La carga financiera de mudarse y comenzar de nuevo es abrumadora. Mis padres necesitan desesperadamente apoyo para reconstruir sus vidas, son ciudadanos de bajos ingresos que viven de la seguridad social.
