Hello All,
My name is Sandra Daley. Thank you for taking the time to review our distress of desperate need in Jamaica. As you may be aware, the recent hurricane severely damaged homes, schools and livelihoods in the western, northwest and southwest regions of the island.
I live in a small rural community on the west coast in the parish of Hanover where catastrophic damages were done leaving families in poor health conditions, inability to make contact per lack of utility and power, as well as without food, medication, clothing, and shelter.
I have a spinal disc injury which prevents me from further working in office as a office cleaner, I have been on disability sin July 1st 2020. I am now homeless and seeking aid to restore a roof my head with any help that I can get.
I'm not one to seek handouts but I've found myself in a situation where pride has been omitted since I can't afford to do this alone.
I understand as there are many families in need. It does not matter how small; every help will be graciously appreciated in each area that I lack.
Any help in kind or otherwise such as building material, food, clothe and prayers will be appreciated.
Update of progress will be provided.
Have a blessed day.
