My name is Maureen, a proud Jamaican born in the Parish of Saint Ann, with family throughout the island. My loved ones in the St. James and Saint Elizabeth areas have been deeply affected by Hurricane Melissa, which has left much of Jamaica devastated.

Homes have been destroyed, communities flooded, and families displaced. Many are now without clean water, electricity, or shelter — struggling to rebuild their lives after losing everything.

I’m starting this GoFundMe to support Jamaicans who have been most affected by this disaster.

Emergency food and clean water

Diapers and personal hygiene items

Temporary building supplies for the hardest-hit areas
