Hi we are the King Family, Based in the UK with our Grandmother living in Irwin Point Montego Bay Jamaica.
As many of you know, the Caribbean island of Jamaica has suffered severe devastation at the hands of Hurricane Melissa. Many communities remain without electricity, water, and basic provisions due to extensive damage and limited road access. While relief efforts have begun, the focus is understandably on the areas deemed most critically affected.
Irwin Point, a community within Montego Bay St James, is home to many elderly residents, most living alone, young working families, and a large home supporting vulnerable girls.
We are raising funds in the uk on behalf or The Friends of Irwin Community to provide essential supplies and support to their residents as they wait for broader government relief.
The funds will be spent on essential food, medication, fresh water, batteries, candles and solar lighting.
We have set a target of £2,000, which will go a long way in helping those affected and bringing some much-needed light and hope back to the community.
Any help is deeply appreciated. No contribution is too small, and sharing this page will help us reach as many supporters as possible.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
