Hurricane Melissa Relief Fund — Help Montego Bay Families Recover
My name is Marsha Esmie, from Montego Bay, Jamaica. I am the Director of Groups of Course Ltd. (GOC). I am partnering with:
- Everton Esmie, Montego Bay — Owner of EETT (Everton Esmie’s Transportation & Tours)
- Ainsley Dixon, Montego Bay native now based in Florida — community advocate supporting charitable efforts in both Jamaica and the U.S.
We have united to assist families who have been severely affected by Hurricane Melissa across Montego Bay and nearby communities. Many of these families are personally known to us — these are our neighbors, friends, church families, and community members.
The Need
Hurricane Melissa has brought unexpected devastation. Many families — especially children, single parents, and the elderly — have lost clothing, supplies, and basic essentials.
Our mission is simple:
No family should feel forgotten. No child should go without basic needs as they rebuild.
How Funds Will Help
100% of donations will go directly toward supplies, including:
✅ School supplies & backpacks
✅ Clothing for children and families
✅ Hygiene & household essentials
✅ School shoes & socks
✅ Textbooks & stationery
✅ Basic care items for affected homes
Who We Will Support First
Those most vulnerable:
- Families with school-aged children
- Single-parent households
- Elderly residents
- Persons who lost homes or property
- Low-income and at-risk families
Transparency
We are committed to full accountability:
- Funds used solely for relief support
- Purchases and distributions documented
- Updates, photo/video highlights shared via
- EETT | GOC | Ainsley Dixon platforms
- Final donor report will be issued
No admin fees. No personal benefit. Every dollar goes to the families.
Why This Matters
Jamaica is strong, but recovery takes time and community effort. With your support, we can help restore comfort, dignity, and hope to families who are struggling right now.
Thank you for standing with us during this difficult time. Your kindness will help rebuild lives and uplift our community.
With gratitude & faith,
Marsha Esmie
