Thank you to everyone that has reached out and checked-in with our family as Hurricane Melissa was an extremely powerful and catastrophic Category 5 hurricane that has devasted Jamaica.

I am organizing this fundraiser as our Father is from Jamaica. Much of our family on the island in the parish of Trelawny has been impacted by the destruction of the hurricane. Hurricane Melissa has brought unimaginable hardship to the Watt family, my close relatives in Jamaica. Their home and land have suffered severe damage, leaving them without many of the basic necessities that most of us take for granted. In the aftermath of the storm, they are facing the daily challenge of rebuilding their home and restoring the land, all while trying to come to terms with the damage of the place they call home.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward buying essential supplies and helping to repair the Watt family's housing and land. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference in their lives while providing stability, hope, and the resources they need to start rebuilding.
