Hi I'm Kady Edwards-Campbell an author, film maker and serial entrepreneur born in Spanish Town, Jamaica. I currently own and operate Kaemedia LLC a company rooted in telling stories from the Caribbean and Africa.

When Hurricane Melissa tore through Jamaica, it left behind shattered homes, flooded communities, and countless families struggling to survive and rebuild. Entire neighborhoods have been devastated, access to basic needs has been disrupted, and many vulnerable families are now without shelter, food, clothing, or essential supplies. There is aid getting into Jamaica but the reality is these communities will need help long-term.

We have partnered with DSE Jamaica and HOV who are currently on the ground providing help to underserved communities. The work is enormous, people are trying to survive with no roofs over their heads, no food, drinking water and basic toiletries.

The communities in Westmoreland they have decided to target are Petersfield and Bath District. The houses in these areas have all been destroyed with thousands of people in need of food and shelter.
