In October 2025, Hurricane Melissa struck the shores of Jamaica, leaving a trail of devastation across the island. Homes were swept away, and vital infrastructure - including hospitals, schools, and roads - was severely damaged.
While emergency support arrived quickly to provide temporary shelter, medical supplies, and access to clean water, that was only the beginning. Now, the real work begins: rebuilding communities, restoring healthcare services, and ensuring children can return to safe, full-time education.
That’s where we come in.
Golden Black - Wolverhampton Wanderers’ first Black supporters group - are partnering with the West Midlands Caribbean Parents & Friends Association (https://www.wmcpfa.org.uk/), with the support of Wolverhampton Wanderers (https://www.wolves.co.uk/), to raise funds for long-term recovery efforts in Jamaica.
On 25th April, we will be collecting outside Molineux ahead of Wolves vs Spurs, using QR codes and card readers to make donating as easy as possible. But we know not everyone will be there on the day - so this page allows anyone, anywhere, to support the cause.
Every donation, no matter the size, will go towards rebuilding essential services - helping hospitals care for the sick, and giving children the chance to return to education and stability.
This is about more than recovery - it’s about restoring hope and rebuilding futures.
If you can, please donate.
If you can’t, please share.
Thank you for your support, as we bring smiles back to the Caribbean.
God bless.
