Greetings, my name is Carl Blackstock from Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, UK.

With challenges due to hurricane Melissa that struck through Jamaica I would like you to join me in supporting the Jamaican people and make a real impact by helping to rebuild people's lives.

We have all seen the scenes of the devastation on our TV screens with so many communities losing absolutely everything from their whole home to the power being completely out and no source of fresh water.

This situation burns me and has made me feel numb for the past week, my father Clive last April/May time moved to Jamaica starting his journey in Ocho Rios though the road eventually took him to Montego bay were he is currently residing.

He is currently witnessing the real impact and in the community where he is living is in total dire straits, houses being torn apart and washed away, families starting from nothing with everything being displaced fridges, freezers, wardrobes, beds, books, bibles and prized possessions lost, damaged and destroyed.

My aim is to ship out some relief resources to the community where my dad is living in Montego bay, a place called Catherine hall.

Currently relief resources are what's needed the most so this is something we will always prioritize. Although our primary mission is long term, ongoing to help rebuild a community in Jamaica that has been heavily damaged by the hurricane so this is not just a one off relief package this is going to be a continuous effort to put families in Jamaica back on their feet back to living a graceful life.
