Introduction

Hi, everyone, my name is Glenmore Thompson and I'm from Kingston, Jamaica but currently living in the United States of America. My family in Spanish Town ST. Catherine needs your urgent help. As you may have heard, Jamaica was hit by the catastrophic Category 5 Hurricane Melissa on Tuesday October 28,2025 leaving widespread devastation in its wake. While I am immensely grateful that my family survived the storm, they are now facing a severe food shortage and the difficult process of rebuilding their lives. My Partner, Derek and I are starting this fundraiser to send a care package of food supplies and essential items to our family and their neighbors as soon as possible.

How the funds will be spent

Any funds raised will be used directly to purchase non-perishable food, water filters, medical supplies, and other critical items that will bring immediate relief. Our goal is to ensure they have enough provisions to sustain themselves while the island's infrastructure is restored and recovery efforts get underway. We thank you so much for any donations given.
