Our lives were truly turned upside down by Hurricane Melissa. The storm made a devastating landfall at New Hope in Westmoreland on Tuesday, October 28th, 2025.

The impact was immediate and destructive: the roofs of my parents' and grandmother's houses in Petersville were completely ripped off by the storm's fury. As you can imagine, everything inside suffered catastrophic water damage, leaving behind a scene of immense loss and instability.

I'm Julian, currently organizing this fundraiser from Germany for my family back home.

Their situation is incredibly precarious—the absence of a roof makes them vulnerable to every passing rain, and we know the weather will worsen.

Our goal is urgent: to raise 6,500 EUR to cover the cost of roof repairs and replace the essential items they lost.

Every Euro you can spare makes a direct and tangible difference in lifting my family out of this crisis.

To everyone who has contributed so far, whether with a donation large or small, my family and I want to express how truly grateful we are for your help and for being a source of hope during this difficult time.
