As most of you are aware, the beautiful island of Jamaica was hit by a catastrophic category 5 hurricane a few weeks ago. The people of Jamaica are suffering and need as much help as possible.

Many of my direct family members have lost about 90% of everything they own, including houses, vehicles, and everyday necessities.

The funds that are raised will go directly towards helping as many of my family members as possible to rebuild their homes and furnish with essentials such as beds, furniture, dishes/plates, bedding, etc. Currently, we have about 15-20 people (including small children) staying in a 2 bedroom house and things will continue to be this way for them until their homes are rebuilt.

Since the storm, we have done as much as we possibly can for our direct family members and unfortunately, because of how rural the area that they live in is, it has been extremely hard to get help directly to them in a timely manner.

These are trying times for so many people across the island and we appreciate any kind of support you can give. If you’re unable to donate funds, you can still help us by sharing this link and/or saying a quiet prayer for all the families affected by Hurricane Mellissa.
