Supporting Disaster Relief for Black River, Jamaica After Hurricane Melissa
My name is Andre Bennett, and I a Jamaica native residing in London, UK.
I was born and raised in Black River, St. Elizabeth - a beautiful and historic town that has been severely damaged by Hurricane Melissa a category 5 storm.
The storm tore through our Town and surrounding communities, destroying homes, flooding neighbourhoods, and leaving families without electricity, clean water, or shelter.
Many residents have lost everything and urgently need help to rebuild their lives.
I have created this GoFundMe to support relief and recovery efforts in Black River and surrounding communities. Donations will go directly toward:
- Emergency supplies such as food, clean water, and clothing
- Repairs and rebuilding of damaged homes
- Assistance for displaced families and local schools
Every contribution - no matter how small - will help bring hope and stability back to our communities. Please consider donating or sharing this appeal to support the people of Black River as we recover from this devastating storm.
Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and solidarity.
Andre Bennett
