My name is Delroy Foster. I am originally from St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, and I now live in the United States with my wife Tammy. I am fundraising to help my immediate family — my mother (Verna), my stepfather (Kelvin), my sister (Zori), and my brother (Marlon) — whose home was destroyed by Hurricane Melissa.

Hurricane Melissa brought devastating destruction across Jamaica, impacting thousands of families and entire communities. My heart goes out to every person affected by this storm, especially those in St. Elizabeth where my family lives. Like so many others, my family lost everything — their home, their belongings, and their sense of safety overnight.

As a carpenter, I want to travel back home to help in the rebuilding efforts and begin restoring what was destroyed. But the cost of travel, construction materials, tools, and replacing essential items is beyond what I can cover on my own.

I am humbly asking for financial assistance to help with:

*Lumber, building materials, and tools needed for repairs

*Travel expenses so I can return to Jamaica to help rebuild

*Immediate living essentials for my family (food, clothing, temporary shelter)

*Replacement of basic household items lost in the storm

This is a heavy time for so many families across Jamaica, and I pray for every household trying to rebuild after this disaster. Any amount you are able to give will directly help restore stability, shelter, and hope for my family — and allow me to be physically present to help rebuild.
